How to Add and Manage Pages (AI Site Builder)

Last updated October 16, 2026 · Owners and office staff

Adding pages is the main way your site grows. Ready-made pages are free and appear straight away. A page for one of your services, or a page of your own written from a short description, costs a few credits and is shown to you first. Your menu and footer update on their own.

Before you start

  • Open your site in the editor (Tools > Website > Edit website).
  • The Page picker above the preview shows which page you are on. Pick another page there to work on it.
  • In Advanced mode (More tools > Always show all tools) your pages are tabs across the top of the preview instead, each with a … button.
  • On a phone, the five big actions and More tools are under the Tools button at the bottom of the screen.

Steps

Add a ready-made page

  1. Choose Add a page (on a phone: Tools > Add a page).
  2. Under Ready-made pages, pick one: Services, About, Gallery / Our work, Reviews, Service areas, FAQ or Contact. Only pages your site does not have yet are listed. When you have them all, the sheet says Every ready-made page is already on your site.
  3. The page is added and saved at once, filled in with your business details.

Add a page for one of your services

When your site lists a service that has no page of its own yet, the sheet shows A page for each service at the top, with a button for each one, for example Add a page for Aeration.

  1. Choose Add a page.
  2. Choose Add a page for the service you want. The button shows the credit cost.
  3. The page is written from your business details and what your site already says about that service. Look at it in the preview and choose Keep it or Undo.

Describe your own page

  1. Choose Add a page.
  2. Under Describe your own, type a page name (for example “Snow removal” or “Commercial maintenance”).
  3. In What should it say?, add a sentence or two.
  4. Choose Add page. The button shows the credit cost.
  5. Look at the new page in the preview and choose Keep it or Undo.

You can also ask in the request box, for example “Add a page about snow removal”. See Ask for a Change.

Rename, move, hide or delete a page

  1. Pick the page in the Page picker above the preview.
  2. Open More tools (on a phone: Tools > More tools) and choose Rename, move, hide or delete this page. In Advanced mode you can also choose the … button on the page’s tab.
  3. A sheet lists what you can do with the page:
    • Rename the page (its menu name changes too)
    • Hide from menu (the page stays on the site but isn’t in the menu) or Show in menu
    • Move earlier or Move later in the menu
    • Change the page style, which opens the page styles in Change the look
    • Google headline and description, how the page shows on Google (see Get Found on Google)
    • Delete page (not offered for Home), then confirm

Change a page’s style

Open the page, then choose More tools > Page styles (or Change the look, then Page styles). Pick a style: you see it in the preview before it is kept. See Change Your Design and Photos.

Switch between one page and multiple pages

Open More tools. Under Pages, the last item reads Everything on one page or A page for each topic; choose it to switch. In Advanced mode the same two buttons sit above the preview. Switching is a proposed change: the preview shows the result and you choose Keep it or Undo. When your site is one page, the parts of that page take the place of separate pages, and you switch back to multiple pages before adding a page.

What happens next

New and changed pages are part of your draft. On a live site they go online when you choose Publish (the button reads Publish changes on a computer once your site is live).

Tips

  • Most landscapers add Gallery and Service areas. They show your work and tell visitors where you go.
  • Be specific in your description. “We plow driveways and walks after every storm, residential only” gives a better page than “Snow”.
  • Keep the menu short. Hide pages that don’t need a menu link, such as a seasonal offer.
  • On a phone, look for Tools. Everything that sits on the left of a computer screen, including More tools, is behind the Tools button at the bottom.

Troubleshooting

  • “Your site is one page. Switch to multiple pages first, then add pages.”: choose A page for each topic (in More tools under Pages), keep the change, then add your page.
  • “The page could not be added”: try again. If the page was being written for you, you were not charged.
  • A service has no Add a page for button: it already has a page with the same name, or the sheet is showing the first eight. Use Describe your own with the service name.
  • I can’t find the page options: they are in More tools under Pages, not on the preview. On a phone open Tools, then More tools.
  • I deleted a page by mistake: contact support. They can bring back an earlier version of your site.
