Simple and Advanced (AI Site Builder)
Last updated October 3, 2026 · Owners and office staff
The editor opens in Simple mode: your site takes most of the screen, and the left side holds one request box and five big actions. Everything else is one tap away in More tools. If you like to see every tool at once, switch to Advanced. Nothing is lost either way.
Simple mode
On the left:
- What would you like to change? Type a request in your own words. See Ask for a Change.
- Change the look: style, colors and fonts.
- Edit text: click any words on your site.
- Add a page: pick a ready-made page or describe your own.
- Photos: add or swap pictures.
- Business details: phone, hours, towns you serve and proof.
- More tools: everything else.
On a phone the left side becomes a bar at the bottom with the request box and a Tools button. Tools opens the five actions and More tools as a sheet from the bottom of the screen. Above the preview a short status line shows Saved and how many AI credits you have left, with Buy credits when you run out.
More tools
More tools lists everything that is not in the five big actions, in groups: Pages (rename, move, hide, delete, Google headline and description), This page (parts of this page and page styles), Top and bottom of every page, Check my site (your AI team), Blog, Site (domain, contact form, Inbox, reviews, visitor stats, settings) and Show me around.
Switch to Advanced
- Choose More tools.
- At the bottom, turn on Always show all tools.
Advanced adds three tabs on the left (Assistant, Page parts and Check my site) and page tabs above the preview. To go back, turn on Simple mode in the same place.
Your choice follows you: it is saved for your login, on every website and every computer you use.
The short tour
The first time you open the editor after a build, three tips point out the preview, the request box and Publish. Choose Skip to close them. To see them again, choose More tools > Show me around.
