Ask for a Change (AI Site Builder)

Type what you want in your own words, and the assistant does it. Every change is shown on the preview first, with Undo and Keep it. Nothing is kept until you choose Keep it, and you are only charged for a change the assistant actually made.
Before you start
- Open your site in the editor (Tools > Website > Edit website).
- The request box uses AI, so it needs a paid plan. It is not available during the free trial.
- The request box is at the top of the left side (at the bottom on a phone).
Steps
- Type your request, for example “Add a page about tree trimming” or “Make the top banner shorter”.
- Press Enter or the send button.
- The assistant answers in one of these ways:
- A change: the preview shows it with a New tag, and a bar on the preview says what changed. Choose Keep it or Undo.
- A question: when it is not sure, it asks once and offers two or three answers to tap. Questions are free.
- An answer: some requests are not edits. “Connect mapleleafyard.com” opens Web address and domain with the name already filled in.
- Before anything that costs more than a few credits, such as a new page, the assistant tells you the price and waits for Go ahead.

What it will not do
Proof is yours alone. A request to add a rating, a license, a guarantee, years in business or an offer opens Business details instead, so the facts on your site are always the ones you gave. The assistant never invents reviews, prices or numbers.
Credits
The box shows what most changes cost. After a change it shows what it used and what is left. If something goes wrong, the assistant says so and you are not charged. See AI Credits in the Site Builder.
Troubleshooting
- “Your site changed in another window”: the latest version was loaded. Ask again.
- “Choose Undo or Keep it on the change first”: one change at a time. Decide on the one on the preview, then ask for the next.
