How to Use Your AI Team (AI Site Builder)

Last updated October 16, 2026 · Owners and office staff

Your site comes with a team of four AI experts. They check your site as you work and suggest fixes in plain words. You never choose settings or write prompts: each suggestion has a one-tap fix, and every change is shown to you before it is saved.

Before you start

  • Open your site in the editor (Tools > Website > Edit website) and choose More tools > Tips from your AI team. In Advanced mode it is the Check my site tab on the left.
  • The checks your team runs on every save are free. Credits are used only when an expert writes or reviews with AI, and the cost is always shown first. See AI Credits in the Site Builder.

Meet the team

Expert What they do
SEO Expert Helps people in your area find you on Google: page titles and descriptions, one clear headline per page, photo descriptions, matching contact details.
Designer Makes your site look polished: layouts, icons for your services, missing logo, empty sections. Never changes your words.
Copywriter Improves what your pages say: placeholder text left in, very short or very long sections, pages with no call to action.
Proofreader Catches typos, double spaces, shouting in capitals and contact details that don’t match. Also flags claims your business information doesn’t back up, such as “licensed and insured” or “20 years”, so you can confirm or remove them.

Steps

Read your site health

The ring at the top of the team panel shows how ready your site is, and says Ready to publish when nothing important is left. The same ring sits next to Tips from your AI team in More tools.

Act on a suggestion

Each expert’s card shows how many suggestions they have. Under it, each suggestion has:

  • Fix it for me: makes the fix. Simple fixes, such as a typo or an empty section, are free.
  • Ask AI to fix (uses credits): for fixes that need writing, such as a better page description.
  • Show me: takes you to the place on your site.
  • Why?: one sentence on why it matters.
  • Ignore: hides the suggestion. Ignored suggestions stay hidden.

Every fix appears in the preview first. Choose Keep it or Undo.

Ask one expert to review the site

Choose an expert’s card, then Ask the SEO Expert to review (or the Proofreader or Designer). The button shows the credit cost. The expert reads the whole site and proposes changes in their specialty. The Copywriter reviews as part of the full check (Check my whole site).

Check your whole site

  1. Choose Check my whole site. The button shows the cost, one price for all four experts.
  2. The Copywriter, Proofreader, SEO Expert and Designer review the site in turn. This takes a minute or two. You can keep working.
  3. When they finish, you see each expert’s changes with a tick box. The preview shows all of them.
  4. Untick any expert whose changes you don’t want, then choose Keep selected. Or choose Undo to keep nothing.

The publish sheet shows how many tips your team has, with See tips to open this panel. A full check is optional, and it is a good idea before you go live.

Ask in chat

You can also ask for a specific change in the chat, for example “Mention patio installation in Austin on the Services page”. It works like any chat edit. A request about Google, such as “Help me show up on Google for patios in Concord”, starts your SEO Expert with that goal, and if the review costs more than the assistant may spend without asking, it asks you first. See Edit Your Site with Chat and Sections.

What happens next

Kept changes become part of your draft like any other edit. On a live site they go online when you choose Publish.

Tips

  • Look at your team’s tips before publishing. The publish sheet shows how many there are. Tips never stop you publishing; only the items under Before you publish do.
  • Answer the Proofreader’s claim flags. If a statement on your site can’t be backed up, remove it or add the fact to your business information.
  • Run a full check of your site (Check my whole site) before you go live. It is the quickest way to tidy everything at once.

Troubleshooting

  • “Your team found nothing to change”: your site is in good shape. Nothing was charged.
  • “Your team could not finish. You were not charged.”: try again in a minute.
  • “Those changes depend on each other. Keep all of them or none.”: two experts changed the same part of the site. Keep both, or neither.
  • “Your site changed while your team was reviewing it”: you edited the site during the review. Run the review again; you were not charged.
  • No credits left: the panel offers Buy more credits. The free checks and free fixes keep working.
