How to Use the Weather Page

Last updated September 22, 2026 · Owners, dispatchers, crew leads

The Weather page puts the forecast your dispatch decisions depend on inside the product, so you are not deciding tomorrow’s routes from a phone app in another window.

Find it at Schedule > Weather.

The Weather page showing current conditions, a layered weather map, the three-day forecast and the hourly table

Where the location comes from

Your company’s city and state, set in Settings > Company Settings. The page title names the location it is using, so if it says the wrong town, fix the company address rather than the page.

What is on the page

Current Conditions — temperature, what it feels like, conditions, wind speed and direction, humidity and precipitation, with the time it was last updated.

Weather Map — an interactive map with switchable layers: Temperature, Precipitation, Wind, Pressure and Cloud. Useful for seeing whether a band of rain is going to clip your service area or miss it.

3-Day Forecast — today plus the next two days, each with high and low, conditions, rain chance and wind.

Hourly table — Today and Tomorrow tabs, hour by hour: condition, temperature, wind, rain %, snow % and measured precipitation.

How crews actually use it

The hourly table is the one that earns its keep. A 60% chance of rain “tomorrow” tells you nothing useful. Rain arriving at 2pm tells you to run the two long mowing routes in the morning and move the cleanup.

A few habits worth building:

  • Check the hourly view the evening before, not the morning of. Reordering a route at 6am is a scramble; doing it at 5pm the day before is a decision.
  • Watch the snow % column from October. It is the early warning that a storm event is coming.
  • When rain lands mid-week, use the Rain / Delay Shift on Route Management to move a whole day rather than dragging visits one at a time.

If the weather does not load

  • Check that your company has a city and state in Settings. Without them the page cannot look anything up.
  • The forecast comes from an outside service. If it is briefly unreachable the page says so rather than showing stale numbers as if they were current.
