Dashboard Overview

Last updated July 6, 2026 · Owners, admins, and office staff

The Dashboard is the first page you see after signing in — a morning briefing built around three things: dispatching today’s work, following up on leads and estimates, and collecting cash. This article explains every card on the page and where each link takes you.

Landscaping Software dashboard showing today’s dispatch, leads and estimates, and cash-collection cards

Before you start

  • Any operator account can view the Dashboard — there’s nothing to configure.
  • The weather cards use your company’s city and state from Settings → Company Settings. If those are blank, a default location is shown.
  • On a brand-new account (no customers, jobs, or crews yet), the Dashboard shows a first-time setup guide instead of the operational view — see Getting Started.

The page, top to bottom

Header and quick actions

The header shows your company name and a personalized briefing line. The Open Daily Dispatch button jumps straight to the scheduling calendar.

Below the header, a quick-actions bar gives one-click access to the most common tasks:

  • Create Invoice
  • Schedule Appointment
  • Add Lead
  • Log Payment
  • Create Estimate

Weather alert banner

If there’s a 60% or higher chance of rain or snow today or tomorrow, an alert banner appears: “Weather may affect the next two dispatch days. Review open routes and reschedules.” — with a Review Route Shifts link to the Routes page.

Workflow guide

A step-by-step guide card appears near the top with suggested next actions. You can hide these guides product-wide from Settings → Profile → Preferences → Show Workflow Guides (see Your Profile, Password & Preferences).

Today At A Glance

The main card for dispatch. Pills at the top show jobs today and active crews. Four stats each link to the page where you act on them:

Stat What it counts Link
Needs crew assignment Jobs not yet scheduled/assigned Route planner
Upcoming this week Appointments in the next 7 days Appointments
Open leads Leads that are New, Contacted, or Estimate Sent Leads
Pending estimates Estimates that are Sent or Viewed Estimates

Below the stats, the Dispatch Timeline lists today’s appointments in time order — start time, job name, customer, address (with a Map link that opens Google Maps), and assigned crew. Clicking a job name opens its Job Summary.

Needs Attention

Six action tiles for the office. Each tile is a link:

  • Overdue invoices — invoices past due (opens Sales)
  • Completed, not billed — finished jobs with no invoice yet (opens Jobs)
  • Expiring estimates — estimates whose expiry date falls within the next 7 days (opens Estimates)
  • Jobs missing route assignment — same count as “Needs crew assignment” (opens Routes)
  • Jobs ready to invoice — jobs in Completed workflow status (opens Jobs, pre-filtered)
  • Held jobs resuming this week — on-hold jobs with an expected resume date in the next 7 days (opens Jobs, pre-filtered)

Proof Of Work

A collapsible card summarizing what the office can verify from the field today: visits reviewed, complete proof, missing after photo, and missing field activity. It opens automatically when something is flagged, and lists recent exceptions with links to the affected jobs.

Performance Snapshot

Month-level trend metrics: Revenue this month, Revenue growth (vs. last month), Jobs completed this month, New customers this month, Outstanding balance (total unpaid across open invoices), and Revenue this year.

Upcoming Appointments

Two side-by-side lists — Today and Tomorrow — showing start time, job name, and customer. Each entry links to the Job Summary.

Weather Outlook

Current conditions plus today’s and tomorrow’s highs/lows and rain/snow chances for your company’s city and state.

Customer Feedback

Private “not so great” feedback collected by the review engine — review requests route unhappy customers here instead of to your public review sites. Shows an unread count and the three most recent comments, with a View all link to the full Feedback page.

Payments Collected

A month-by-month bar chart of cash collected in the current calendar year. If no payments have been logged yet, it shows “No payment activity to chart yet.”

Active Crews

Your active crews, each linking to its Crew Summary page.

The search box in the top bar works from any page, not just the Dashboard. Type at least 2 characters to search across customers, jobs, invoices, estimates, leads, crews, products, and appointments at once. Results show up to 12 matches, labeled by type, and clicking one takes you straight to that record.

Tips & best practices

  • Work “Needs Attention” daily. Overdue invoices and completed-but-unbilled jobs are the two tiles that most directly affect cash flow.
  • Trust the weather alert. It only fires at a 60%+ precipitation chance for the next two dispatch days — worth a look at routes when it appears.
  • Use quick actions instead of digging through menus for one-off invoices, leads, and payments.

Troubleshooting

  • “Weather data is currently unavailable” — the forecast service couldn’t be reached, or your company city/state isn’t set. Add them under Settings → Company Settings and refresh.
  • The Dashboard doesn’t appear on my phone — on small screens (phones), signing in takes you to the field-friendly Today view instead of the Dashboard. Use a tablet or desktop for the full Dashboard.
  • Numbers look off for “Jobs completed this month” — this counts jobs marked completed whose record was last updated this month, so late edits to old jobs can shift the count.
  • The chart is missing — the Payments Collected chart only renders once at least one payment has been logged this year.
